The Gun Game

"Great game but"

submission: The Gun Game
date: November 1, 2009

Every time I close it my progress doesn't save and it's too much of a pain in the ass to re-unlock all the guns/challenges I did. Also, the speed challenge was near impossible to get expert for a lot of guns; I wouldn't have minded if they weren't necessary to unlock weapons. Maybe you could make less targets, give more time for these challenges, or just have the guns unlocked through a different means like earning Veteran on all challenges for a gun or campaign missions. I think the best way would to just have all the guns unlocked in the beginning and be able to unlock perks for them like bigger clip, more damage, etc; That way you can try out all the guns.

FOR EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO FLIP A GUN: TRY RELOADING THE USP .45
(DO IT 100 TIMES AND YOU'LL GET THE ACHIEVEMENT)

FOR EVERYONE TRYING FOR THE DEAGLE CHALLENGE: JUST AIM THE GUN AT THE GREEN BOX, PRESS RESET AND IMMEDIATELY FIRE. THE BULLET SHOULD REACH THE GREEN BOX BEFORE THE TWO COLUMNS IN FRONT OF IT APPEAR. THIS STRATEGY DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK THE FIRST TIME SO JUST KEEP TRYING UNTIL YOU GET IT.

I loved it. It had a truly eerie feel, especially with the music. I like how you could choose from a set of different locations for each level. Recommendations for updates/sequel: save button, an end story that explains how the zombies were created, a few more rounds for the laser, a background for the main laboratory place (I just saw a black screen as the background, wasn't sure if that was on purpose or not), and instead of hiring survivors with pre-assigned weapons you should be able to give them any projectile weapon you own(except certain ones like the laser gun. Overall it was a very good game, but towards the end I started to get a little bored.

"Cool but..."

The exclusive carrier mission was a complete pain in the ass! The carriers take way too long to kill, and while your killing it it spawns like an entire army that just crashes into you and two more carriers show up to take its place before your even 1/4 of the way done killing it. This brings up the point that infantry crashing into you causes way too much damage on extreme and it becomes especially annoying in the carrier missions where that's all they try to do.

The drones were way too fast to stop a lot of the times and the only way to deal with them was to let them crash into you which usually results in death.

Another thing is that shooting units should try more to stay back and shoot from a distance rather than crash into you.

It's a good concept for a game, but all these falws make it hard to enjoy.

I can't believe you got all those people to agree to take part in this video about them getting shot.

I love everything about this game. I must have played through it about 10 times now. The music is great and the animation is fa nominal. I liked how every battle with the clown had him using different attacks and how many of these attacks came from madness consternation. I can't decide whether I like normal or madness mode more. Both have unique qualities like how normal allows you to just beast through all the agents and madness mode supplies you with an over abundance of ammo. The chain saw part was a great idea, especially the part where you destroy the giant agent's face with it. You only get that type of greatness form madnesss. Just one small thing I disliked. After the first scene where you shoot the clown off a cliff, and use up the rest of your MP5, you never see another one in the game. Other than that awesome game (as in it literally left me in awe due to its greatness).

Kanye West Soundboard

"Funny as hell"

This really shows how much of a dick this guy is. My favorites were the parts on religion, jibberish, and the Humbles. One more thing, to hear Kanye argue with himself listen to the humbles in this order: 5,2,4,3.

"Great quiz"

I liked the weapon origins. I think you shoul've put in one for the M16. It was challenging, but not impossible. Good work.

Zombie Quiz V2

"I liked both the 1st and second time"

submission: Zombie Quiz V2

Basically, just read my review for the 1st one. Also, I liked the simulator in the end. One more thing about the AK I want to mention (In addition with my complaints for the rewiew of the 1st game) it often suffers what's known as a stovepipe jam. It's easy to fix, but a person who is unaware of how to fix it might think the gun has become useless and abandon it. Also, the AK is somewhat inaccurate while the uzi is very accurate(fired while holding it with two hands, one handed shooting only works in the movies) However, a plus of the AK is it's ledgendary reliability. It would be ideal if you're moving around and don't have the time or supplies to clean it. So a good solution would be to keep the AK as your main weapon and keep the Uzi as a backup as the Uzi (especially the mini Uzi, which basically made the regular Uzi obsolete) is pretty small and light. weight.

The Zombie Quiz

"Great game"

submission: The Zombie Quiz

Overall I gotta say that this was a great game, just a few things wrong that kept it from getting a ten.
One: on one of the qs it asks what to do if your friend breaks his leg. Apparently the right answer was shoot him. I choose leave him and if he makes it fine. I don't see the difference between then. Either way you don't waste time carrying him or going back for him. Also, you shouldn't shoot him 1: because it will make a loud noise that will attract zombies 2: It's a waste of precious ammo 3: If your not alon, your group is going to think you're a dirtbag for shooting someone for getting hurt. It's a lot less tramtic and demoralizing to leave rather than execute a group member. 4: At least he'll have a chance to get to safety if you leave him to try to get to refuge.
Two: I agree with Furousha about the Uzi vs. AK. 1: The 7.62 x 39 is hard to come by especially if you live in somewhere like NJ where assalt rifles are banned. 2: Most Uzi's use 9mm or .45 cal. which is often used in handguns so you can sahre ammo with your side arm. 3: 9mm and .45 pistols are used by most police forces, so if the situation presents itself, you can head to the cop station and ammo up.
Three: I also agree with Furousha about keeping a gun in your house as long as your smart about it (keep them unloaded, out of reach of kids, locked up, etc.)
Other than that, Great game.

"I'm impressed"

date: September 19, 2009

This was a really great game. The ominous music and dark pictures, along narrator's vioce really set the mood and made it feel like you were in an infection scenario. I like how there was more than one ending. Took me two times to save my wife, but I took her without cutting off her fingers. I like how this game presented some tough choices and really made me think. It had the feel of a zombie survival quiz, but wtih a good plot. I look foward to the sequal; I can't wait to see what happens to the protagonist and his wife. One more thing: is there a way to get an A on compassion, an A on survival, escape, and save your wife?
